Terms and Conditions for The Golfer Network Spaces
Overview
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use and management of Spaces (“Space” or “Spaces”) by Space Owners (“Owner” or “Owners”). By creating or managing a Space, you agree to comply with these Terms and ensure adherence by all associated hosts, moderators, and members. Setting up a Space on The Golfer Network is currently free of charge.Requirements for Active Spaces
To maintain active status, Spaces must meet the following conditions. Failing to meet them may be subject to review and potential deactivation:Membership Requirement: Each Space must have a minimum of 50 members.
Content Activity: Spaces must endeavour to post at least 5 posts per month to ensure ongoing engagement and community interaction.
Branding and Content Updates: Owners must keep the branding (logos, banners, and other visual elements) and content within the Space up-to-date and reflective of the Space’s purpose and theme. Any outdated or misleading information should be promptly corrected.
Content Moderation and Conduct
To foster a respectful and safe environment, the following rules apply:No Offensive Content: Hosts, moderators, and members are prohibited from posting or sharing offensive, inappropriate, or illegal content. This includes, but is not limited to, hate speech, harassment, explicit content, or any material that violates the platform’s community guidelines.
Moderation Responsibilities: Owners are responsible for moderating content within their Spaces, including removing any content that violates these Terms and ensuring member behaviour aligns with platform standards. Active moderation is essential to maintain a healthy, respectful community.
Best Efforts to Increase Membership
Owners are expected to make their best efforts to grow their Space’s membership.
This includes, but is not limited to:Inviting Existing Members: Actively inviting members from their network to join the Space.
Advertising and Promotion: Promoting the Space through channels such as email, newsletters, and website features to increase visibility and attract new members.
Consistent efforts to grow the membership base will help maintain an active and engaged Space.
Compliance and Enforcement
Failure to comply with these Terms may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent deactivation of the Space. The platform reserves the right to review and monitor Spaces to ensure adherence to these Terms.Modifications to Terms
The platform reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Owners will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the Space after the changes take effect will signify acceptance of the updated Terms. Owners will be provided with a grace period of 30 days to review any updates and decide whether to continue using the platform under the new Terms. During this period, Owners may choose to close their Space without penalty if they do not agree with the modifications.Termination
The platform may deactivate a Space at its discretion if it consistently fails to meet the activity, branding, or content moderation requirements outlined above. Owners will be notified of any potential deactivation and given an opportunity to address the issues.
By creating or managing a Space, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please contact the platform’s support team.
